I will set this post to run as #2 on my list until November 7.
These are troubling days in the grand old U.S. of A.
These battles cannot be fought with politics, military, or medical doctors alone. We need God's help. We need God's help again.
These battles cannot be fought with politics, military, or medical doctors alone. We need God's help. We need God's help again.
Because, as the second President of the United States understood, "the safety and prosperity of nations ultimately and essentially depend on the protection and blessing of Almighty God."
Why not focus on praying for America the twenty-one days prior to the Presidential election? The prayers are based on the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6, the armor of God in Ephesians 6, and Daniel’s prayers in Daniel 9-10.
If you have not already, you can read my article Fervent, Righteous Praying for America here.
Use the following prayer guide from October 19 - November 8, 2016.
You can also access a pdf file of the prayer guide here.
Day One: Ask
God to glorify Himself in and through our nation
(Matthew 6:9)
(Matthew 6:9)
Day Two: Ask
that God’s names would be honored through the lives of His children in the
United States: the Lord our righteousness, the Lord who sanctifies, the Lord
our peace, the Lord who provides, the Lord our Truth, the Lord who heals, the
Lord our Shepherd, the Lord our Banner, the Lord our Hope, etc. (Matthew
6:9)

for God’s kingdom to prosper and for the Father’s will to be done in our
country and this election. (Matthew

forgiveness, grace, and mercy. (Matthew

promote the gospel of peace – the good news of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians

God grant a spirit in our nation so that people think correctly, have
discernment, see through deception, and have the mind of Christ.
(Ephesians

6:17)
Day Thirteen Ask
the Lord to pour out a spirit of intercession and grace upon His church during
these days. (Ephesians

over the United States of America and this Presidential election. (Daniel
