Truth and Justice Review: July 10th

What a week we had in our nation last week.  When debating issues of truth and justice, these matters should be important to Christians.  The Bible shows that the Lord raised up prophets to speak to the national-religious-political leaders of their day.  Those prophets confronted issues of truth and justice - or falsehood and injustice.  A part of our calling to be salt and light is to speak into those arenas.

"Truth is nowhere to be found. And whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice." - Isaiah 59:1

Here are the best news bytes I came across last week.  Captions are listed underneath video clips.

"Comey's decision borders on insane. . . . No wonder the country thinks this city is corrupt. This has the absolute taste of a totally corrupt system." - Speaker Newt Gingrich

“As Jim Comey’s boss for two or three years, I was disappointed in him.” – Rudy Giuliani reacts to the FBI director announcing charges will not be recommended in the Hillary Clinton email investigation
